Who is Haus of Burns

Welcome to my blog. My name is Jenn Burns. I am a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist with over a decade of experience and I am also a full-time mother to 2 amazing children whom I share with my loving husband. My husband and I are from the Midwest and have grown up in North Carolina most of our lives. I welcome you to come along my imperfect journey as a working mom. Cook, craft, work, and simply live life with me.

Why Haus of Burns? As you can see my last name is Burns and I welcome you, in a sense, into my life, my house. But, why haus and not house you may ask? Well Haus is the Germanic word for house. I chose to go with “haus” instead of “house” for a couple reasons. My husband has German roots and for the much simpler reason being that I like the way it looks!

Come follow along on my life’s journey. It’s not glamorous nor is it perfect but it is real.
